Fairfax place, originally named Victoria Mews, is a very characteristic location inside South Hampstead. The amenity of neighbouring properties, and protecting the privacy of adjacent buildings have been key to the design development, which amalgamates two properties into a one new home.

The proposal brings the properties up to date with the requirements of modern living, while at the same time makes sure that enhance and preserve the original building.

The new home has been designed to accommodate all the necessities for a big family, including a significant amount of bespoke joinery, with touches of bright colours and interactive furniture to stimulate the creativity of the little ones.

With the perfect balance between classical and contemporary, the new spaces are united with ingenious solutions to answer the modern family life, and with lots of sunlight from either corner of the home.

The new open staircase is the perfect element to lead you to the brand-new second floor. The timber balustrade and the metal bars combine in perfect harmony with the wall panels and artwork.

Throughout the house, the finishes, colour palette and textures, give a unique and delicate character to the house making it the perfect place for the charismatic family.
